With the latest update of Skype for Business 2016 MSO (16.0.8625.2121), the options for Apper Offline no longer work. I checked the registry entries in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync and they are still there.
