Just bought a 2018 55" Samsung "the Frame." Have downloaded the Smart View app so that I can upload my own photos to display using Art Mode and it won't connect to my TV. The TV is connected via Wifi to my 2.4Ghz wifi network, as is my mobile phone with the app. I have power cycled everything. Softw... This technology is built in to most newer Samsung smart TVs. However, your phone or tablet must be connected to the same network as your TV in order to use this function. If Smart View is not working, restarting or rebooting your device will usually solve the issue. Keep in mind that DRM-protected contents cannot be mirrored. Samsung AllShare is hard-blocked by Windows 10 (and I think not officialy available anymore). Samsung Link works (app also not officialy available) but TV does not read subtitles.
