Don't use the Overdrive app that comes with Windows 8 or 10. Go to app.overdrive.com. Don't log in. Just scroll all the way to the bottom past the applications for Windows8 and 10. to the Overdrive for Windows app. This will download the old program the way it used to look, although its dated December 2016.
