Netflix App Needs To Be Restarted. My Netflix app updated to version 5.0.5 build 16199 this week. The app no longer will start, and says "The application needs to be restarted. Scroll down to Netflix App Select Netflix app Click Advanced options Click Reset Restart Go to store and see if there is any update for this application. If yes, update. Option 2: Update display driver Windows Key+X (Or right click on Start) Click Device Manager Expand Display Adapter Right click on entry below Click Update Driver Software I never get a blue screen when i watch Netflix on Chrome Browser. However i really want the Windows 10 App to work as its 4K for me. Which beats the rubbish 720p on Chrome. Its strange because after my Computer has restarted after the blue screen the Netflix App seems to work OK with no blue screen. Any other suggestions?
The app was working and we watched a couple of movies and then turned it off to watch Hulu on the other player. Later that afternoon we wanted to watch Netflix again and turned on the other player. Low and behold, the app was no longer opening on this player either. Netflix support blames it on Sony and Sony blames it on Netflix. Just bought an LGLED-65UJ630 65INCH TV. Right away I started to get the message "This app will now restart to free up more memory". After searching the internet and forums, I now understand that this problem is huge, it has been going on for years now and it is right across many models of LG TV's.
I have a 49UJ634V television. When I install the YouTube app from the content store the app starts to reboot with the pop-up “out of memory app will restart” but this is then with everything . Live-tv, guide, etc this is a app problem beacause when I delete the app everything else works fine again.
