Does the traditional metronome “beeps” get in the way of your practice or performance? Now, the Apple Watch and its advanced haptic engine has a solution: Haptic beats in silence. I'm looking for something that will let me dial a range of beats per minute that give a Taptic or audio response, or both, at my choosing. I say 'metronome-like' as the apps I saw at the App Store are all music related and do other things and make noises that would only annoy me.
The watch doesn't even make noise; it's basically just a remote for the app on the iPhone. I'm not crazy about the imprecise plopping sound of the metronome, either. It may be that developers are not yet able to harness the full power of the watch due to Apple's constraints, but I'm holding out hope and waiting for a "real" Apple Watch metronome.

I give it only 1 star however because I think the Apple Watch implementation is a great idea, however when you move your wrist down to play guitar for example, the watch screen shuts off, and the haptics stop, and as a guitar player in a band, it is better to have a quiet haptic metronome when warming up than to have to take out. Pro Metronome on Apple Watch has a great interface, but doesn't yet support hacptic feedback. TapTheBeat is a tempo calculator with a fun retro style.
