I am having the same problem I cannot download anything unless I use my phone and push it into my fire stick using my firestick at self I have a second generation I'm not able to download anything with it keeps saying downloading not supported at this time have you several different browsers doesn't work I can't even find the Amazon app store every time I try to get it it might firestick. It’s the same on WiFi or cable. I’m using a VPN but doesn’t make any difference. Does the FireStick throttle itself if your not using amazon apps or is my isp throttling because I’m streaming. Either way I’ve tried removing apps that I’m not using, also stopping background apps. I know FireStick isn’t a powerful device.
