The DirecTV app has been removed from Roku. When i called DirecTV, they said since Amazon bought Roku, they removed the app since it competes with Prime. Feels like an anti-competitive practice. Roku should reimburse for my TV no longer working with my service provider

I have spent hours with DirecTV Now support trying to get it to work (really just trying to log in) with zero result. It would also be wise to make sure the app is completely up-to-date. The same goes for the mobile device's operating system. If that does not work, restarting the Roku mobile app or the mobile device itself should be tried. Uninstalling the DIRECTV NOW and Roku apps and then reinstalling them again may also solve the problem.
