The COVID Symptom Study App was developed and is managed by health technology company ZOE, with the research using data from the app being undertaken by academics at King's College London.
UK researchers have launched an app to help track the spread of Covid-19 and explore who is most at risk from the disease in an attempt to better understand the pandemic. Data from the COVID-19 Symptom Study app will be vital in the fight against COVID-19. We greatly welcome the opportunity to work with colleagues at King’s College London and ZOE to securely host these data on the accredited SAIL Databank in order to assist UK efforts to enable the ethical and safe use of these sensitive data for public benefit.

Researchers analysing Zoe COVID symptom tracking app data urge more people to use it. Researchers from King’s College London and The School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences have joined forces to help analyse the data acquired through the Covid19 Symptoms Tracker App produced by Zoe, a start-up in healthcare data science.
