and easily re-calibrate the iOS included Compass app. And I was able to test the calibration back in July (but never did. need the Compass app) in my iPhone 5C and reset it by using. similar action such as you did. With last supported iOS10.3.3. While my older iPad Mini1.1 had no compass included, 3rd party Compass Deluxe is the best compass App without question, that it is also free boggles the mind. But the compass in my iPhone shows them being about 15 degrees off true north or 30 degrees off magnetic north. Since the magnetic declination at my location is about 15 degrees, this is consistent, but appears to be about 15 degrees off. Is there a way to calibrate the phone's compass? Or is a compass of this sort just not terribly accurate?
