Students wishing to order should go to the University Bookstore website, www.bookstore.appstate.edu and click on the Textbooks Tab. Students enter their student ID number (also called a Banner number) and the books required for their current classes are shown on a list, called a Booklist. Students select which books they would like to receive. The University Bookstore is a self-operated unit of auxiliary services and all revenues in excess of expenses are used to support student scholarships and on-campus initiatives. Appalachian State's comprehensive rental textbook program is managed by the Bookstore which also provides traditional purchase textbooks.

Returns: • Most primary textbooks for courses are eligible for rental through this program. • Students can check their eligible rental books at our website and place their order. • Books not eligible for rental can be purchased through the bookstore via cash, check, credit card, or Express Account.
