Winston-Salem State University has a 2-year (4 semester) residency requirement for all WSSU students that enter the university as a New First Time Freshmen (NFTF). If a student has not fulfilled the residency requirement, they must submit an application and pay the $135.00 application fee or complete the Housing Exemption Form.
